Summary
This study tested a new video monitoring system for people taking methadone at home to treat opioid addiction. The goal was to see if this technology could make take-home treatment safer by ensuring the medication is taken correctly and not misused. Researchers enrolled 15 adults already on a methadone program to use the web-based platform and tracked how well it worked and if participants found it acceptable.
