First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether using remote-controlled CT scans with live video guidance from stroke experts can speed up treatment for stroke patients at smaller hospitals. About 52 adults with suspected stroke within the last 24 hours will take part. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the time from emergency call to receiving clot-busting medication compared to the usual process.
