Summary
This study looked at how the anesthetic remimazolam changes blood flow in the brain compared to the standard drug propofol. Forty adults having planned surgery under general anesthesia took part. Researchers measured blood flow speed in a major brain artery right after anesthesia was given and during recovery. The goal was to understand remimazolam's effects on the brain's circulation.
