First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at how two different anesthesia drugs, remimazolam and propofol, affect blood flow in the brain during surgery. 52 adults having planned surgery under general anesthesia took part. The goal was to measure blood flow speed in a major brain artery right after anesthesia and see how well patients woke up. The results help doctors understand which drug might be safer for brain health during surgery.
