New heart device aims to reshape failing hearts without major surgery

Summary
This study tests a device called the Revivent System, which is placed inside the heart using a less invasive procedure to reshape the left ventricle in people with heart failure. About 135 adults with a damaged, enlarged left heart and low pumping ability will be randomly assigned to get the device plus standard medical care, or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the device helps improve heart function, exercise ability, and quality of life more than medication alone.
