Could a 3-day catheter beat 14 days? new study aims to ease men's pain

Summary
This study looks at men who suddenly can't urinate due to an enlarged prostate. All get a catheter and medication, then are randomly assigned to have the catheter removed after 3 days or 14 days. The goal is to see if the shorter time works just as well, with fewer infections and less discomfort. About 478 men will take part.
