Could shorter catheter time spare men pain and infection?

Summary
This study looks at men who suddenly cannot urinate due to an enlarged prostate. All get a catheter and prostate medication. Half will have the catheter removed after 3 days, the other half after 14 days. The goal is to see if early removal works just as well, with fewer infections and less discomfort.
