Can simple muscle relaxation ease the trauma of disaster survivors?
NCT ID NCT07164261
Summary
This study is testing whether a training program that teaches people to relax their muscles can help disaster survivors who have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Researchers will work with 50 adults who have PTSD after a disaster to see if the relaxation training reduces their symptoms, stress, and sleep problems. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach can improve their quality of life.
