First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two relaxation tools—special glasses (Psio) and a virtual reality headset—against no relaxation tool to see which best reduces anxiety before orthopedic surgery. About 632 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups. The goal is to improve patient well-being and potentially reduce pain and the need for painkillers after surgery.
