First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether starting a special walking therapy (body weight supported treadmill training) at different times within the first 6 months after a spinal cord injury changes how well people recover. About 108 people with recent spinal injuries will be randomly assigned to start therapy within 60 days, 3 months, 6 months, or not get the extra therapy. The goal is to find the best time window for rehab to improve walking ability.
