Summary
This study looked at three different physical therapy plans after arthroscopic surgery for a torn rotator cuff tendon. 229 adults aged 40-65 were randomly assigned to either 6 weeks of strict rest, 3 weeks rest then 3 weeks gentle movement, or immediate gentle movement for 6 weeks. The goal was to see which approach leads to better healing and shoulder function one year after surgery.
