Study questions if rehab is needed after joint replacement
NCT ID NCT04960241
Summary
This study tested whether physical rehabilitation helps people recover after hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers compared two types of rehab (home-based and video-guided) against no formal rehab at all. The trial involved 169 Danish adults who had joint replacement due to osteoarthritis, measuring their daily function, pain, and quality of life.
