Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called REGN7999 in people with a form of beta-thalassemia that does not require regular blood transfusions. The drug is given as a shot under the skin and aims to safely reduce the extra iron that builds up in the body. About 95 adults will take part to see if the drug lowers iron levels in the liver and what side effects may occur.
