First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called REGN7544 in 76 adults hospitalized with sepsis and low blood pressure. The goal was to see if the drug could safely reduce the need for standard blood pressure medications (vasopressors). Researchers measured how much vasopressor patients needed and monitored side effects. The drug is not a cure but aims to better control blood pressure during sepsis.
