First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study will compare two ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques (subcoracoid tunnel block vs. costoclavicular block) in 70 elderly patients undergoing distal upper limb surgeries lasting less than 2 hours. The goal is to see which block provides faster pain relief, reduces the need for extra pain medication, and improves comfort. Participants must be in good general health and have no allergies to local anesthetics.
