First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether hand massage or reflexology (a special type of foot/hand massage) can help reduce pain, anxiety, and improve vital signs in 70 adults who had a coronary angiography, a procedure to check heart arteries. Participants received one of the two massage techniques, and their pain and anxiety levels were measured. The goal was to see if these simple, drug-free methods can make recovery more comfortable.
