First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study will track 5,000 adults who are sent to the emergency department by their general practitioner because of abnormal lab results. The goal is to understand what kinds of abnormal results lead to these referrals and how serious they are. This is an observational study that aims to gather information, not to test a new treatment.
