New study to track ER referrals for abnormal blood tests

Summary
This study will look at 5,000 adults sent to the emergency department by their general practitioner because of abnormal lab results. The goal is to find out what types of abnormalities are most common and how serious they are. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatments are being tested—just collecting information to better understand these referrals.
