NCT ID NCT07203781
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at how changing the pressure on a breathing machine affects the effort and drive to breathe in 20 ICU patients with severe lung failure. Researchers will test six different pressure levels and measure diaphragm function, breathing effort, and lung activity. The goal is to better understand how to adjust ventilator settings for each patient, not to provide a treatment or cure.
