Slow and steady: new approach could make MRI scans less dizzying

Summary

This study aims to reduce the dizziness and vertigo many people feel when entering powerful MRI machines. Researchers will test if slowing down how quickly people move into the scanner from 20 seconds to 1-3 minutes makes these symptoms less severe. They are recruiting 100 people already scheduled for a 7 Tesla MRI scan to compare different entry speeds.
