NCT ID NCT03558464
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding nutrition education, supplements, and hygiene items (like soap) to an existing farming program could reduce stunting and anemia in pregnant women and their children in rural Kenya. About 1,200 pregnant women took part, and their children were followed until age two. The goal was to see if the extra support improved child growth and mother's health compared to farming alone.
