Summary
This study aims to improve how children with congenital heart disease are prepared for surgery or catheter procedures to reduce their stress and anxiety beforehand. Researchers will assess 200 children at a Berlin hospital, using questionnaires to measure anxiety levels before their procedures. The goal is to create a more supportive environment by evaluating recent changes made to the preoperative preparation process.
