First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether improving the hospital experience in intensive care can reduce the risk of PTSD, anxiety, and depression after discharge. About 1,242 adults who stayed in the ICU for at least three days will report their discomfort levels using a simple questionnaire. The goal is to see if a program that makes the ICU more comfortable and human-friendly can lead to better long-term mental health.
