New program aims to ease trauma and depression in black transgender women facing stigma

Summary

This study is creating and testing a support program for Black transgender women who experience ongoing stigma. The program is designed with help from the community to reduce symptoms of distress, like PTSD and depression. About 40 participants will try the program to see if it is helpful and practical.
