Summary

This study looked at whether giving financial help to mothers of very low birth weight babies can increase the use of their own breast milk. Black mothers are more likely to have very small babies but less likely to provide breast milk due to costs. The trial provided economic support for breast pump use and measured how much mother's milk the babies received in the NICU.
