Summary
This pilot study tested whether a primary care outreach program could increase the number of patients with Medicare who complete their annual wellness visit. Researchers randomly assigned doctors and their patients to receive early or delayed outreach. The goal was to see if this approach reduces racial and ethnic gaps in preventive care.
