New technique aims to cut blood loss in fibroid surgery

Summary
This study tests whether temporarily clipping a blood vessel (the umbilico-uterine trunk) during laparoscopic myomectomy can reduce blood loss. About 66 women aged 19-45 with up to 4 fibroids (largest ≤9 cm) will be enrolled. The goal is to make surgery safer by minimizing bleeding and hemoglobin drop.
