New study aims to cut alcohol use in pregnancy with simple motivational tools

Summary

This study tests whether a motivational program can help pregnant women reduce alcohol use. About 600 pregnant women who recently drank alcohol will receive either a computer-based alcohol reduction program plus nurse support, or standard care. The goal is to lower alcohol-related risks for both mother and baby.
