Could a tiny dose of dye prevent bile duct injuries during gallbladder removal?

Summary
This study tests whether a much smaller dose of a dye (indocyanine green) given just before surgery works as well as the standard larger dose given hours earlier. The dye helps surgeons see the bile ducts clearly during gallbladder removal, which may reduce the risk of accidental injury. About 122 adults having gallbladder surgery will take part, and the study will compare how well the bile ducts are seen with each dose.
