NCT ID NCT01962415
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a milder chemotherapy and transplant method for children and young adults up to age 55 with serious non-cancer blood disorders like immune deficiencies, anemias, and metabolic diseases. The goal is to see if this gentler approach can safely replace the patient's faulty cells with healthy donor cells while reducing life-threatening side effects. Participants will receive a stem cell transplant from a matched donor and be followed for at least a year to monitor survival, immune recovery, and complications.
