Could less medication be better for older kidney transplant patients?

Summary
This study looks at whether older kidney transplant patients (55+) can safely stop taking one of their anti-rejection drugs (mycophenolate mofetil) while keeping their new kidney healthy. About 350 participants will be randomly assigned to either stop the drug or continue standard care. The goal is to reduce side effects without increasing the risk of rejection or graft failure.
