Summary
This study looks at whether older kidney transplant patients (55+) can safely stop taking one of their anti-rejection drugs (mycophenolate mofetil) while still protecting their new kidney. About 350 participants will either stop the drug or continue standard care, and researchers will track rejection, graft failure, and side effects. The goal is to reduce medication burden without harming transplant outcomes.
