First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a small vaginal repair (called posterior colpoperineorrhaphy) to standard prolapse surgery can reduce the risk of prolapse coming back within a year. About 200 women with stage 2 or worse prolapse will take part. The goal is to find a better way to control this condition and improve long-term results.
