NCT ID NCT04880239

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a small vaginal repair (called posterior colpoperineorrhaphy) to standard prolapse surgery can reduce the chance of prolapse coming back within a year. About 200 women having minimally invasive prolapse surgery with mesh will take part. The goal is to see if this extra step helps without causing more bowel or pain problems.
