Summary

This study tested whether removing red and processed meat from the diet for four weeks could improve heart and blood vessel health. Twelve healthy young adults who normally ate meat replaced it with fish, eggs, or white meat. Researchers measured changes in blood fats, blood sugar, and artery stiffness before and after the diet change.
