Light therapy may speed healing after abscess surgery

Summary
This study tests whether shining red and blue light on surgical wounds helps people recover faster after perianal abscess surgery. 222 adults will be split into three groups: standard wound care, standard care plus red light, or standard care plus both red and blue light. Researchers will measure how quickly the wound closes and if patients have less pain or swelling.
