Summary
This study looks at how red blood cells (RBCs) from people with type 2 diabetes and heart attacks differ from healthy ones. Researchers will test these cells in the lab to see how they affect heart and blood vessel function. The goal is to find new ways to treat heart disease by targeting RBCs. About 500 adults with type 2 diabetes will take part.
