Summary
This study looks at how red blood cells (RBCs) influence heart health, especially in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will collect RBCs from 500 participants (those with diabetes, heart attack survivors, and healthy volunteers) and test them in the lab to understand how they protect or damage the heart. The goal is to find new ways to treat heart disease by targeting RBC function.
