Summary
This study looked at 78 women aged 35-50 with deep endometriosis in the rectum who did not plan to get pregnant. It compared two treatments: continuous hormone therapy (using triptorelin and cyproterone acetate) and rectal surgery (shaving, disc excision, or resection). The goal was to see which approach led to better digestive function after 24 months. Both groups also took hormones after treatment to prevent the disease from coming back.
