First seen Jan 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug tislelizumab to standard chemoradiation helps more people with locally advanced rectal cancer achieve a complete response. About 375 adults will receive either chemoradiation alone or combined with tislelizumab, followed by chemotherapy and surgery. The goal is to improve cancer control and possibly save the rectum from removal.
