First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding recovery training to regular tennis practice improves lower leg explosive strength in athletes aged 11-17. Twenty-eight players were split into two groups: one did only their usual tennis training, while the other also did recovery exercises. After six weeks, researchers measured jumping and hopping abilities to see if recovery training made a difference. The goal is to help coaches design better training programs to reduce injury and improve performance.
