First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding recovery training to regular tennis practice improves lower leg explosive strength in young athletes. Twenty-eight tennis players aged 11-17 were split into two groups: one did only their usual training, the other added recovery sessions. Jump tests before and after six weeks measured any changes. The goal is to help coaches design better training programs to reduce injury and boost performance.
