Peer bridge aims to ease tough transition from psychiatric ward to home

Summary
This study tested a program called Recovery Bridge, where trained peer specialists help people leaving psychiatric hospital adjust to life back in the community. The goal was to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and to explore whether it reduces hospital readmissions and improves quality of life. Fifteen veterans took part, and the results will guide future larger studies.
