New hope for High-Risk leukemia: experimental enzyme combo trial opens

Summary
This study tests a new form of the drug asparaginase (made from a different bacterium) combined with standard chemotherapy in 53 high-risk adults aged 18–54 with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and helps control the disease. Participants will receive the drug during initial and follow-up chemotherapy phases.
