Summary

This study looks back at real patient records to see how well two newer antibiotics work against difficult-to-treat bacterial infections. It will involve about 400 adults who were treated for infections caused by drug-resistant bacteria. Researchers will compare the effectiveness and side effects of the antibiotics eravacycline and tigecycline.
