Hospitals test new weapons against superbugs
NCT ID NCT06990126
Summary
This study looks back at hospital records to see how well two newer antibiotics work against tough, drug-resistant bacterial infections. It will include about 400 adult patients who were treated with either eravacycline or tigecycline for at least 3 days. The main goal is to compare how effective and safe these drugs are in real-world hospital use, not in a controlled trial.
