Summary
This study tested a new therapy that uses real-time brain scans (fMRI) to help people with major depression break free from negative thinking patterns. 71 adults with depression participated, and the therapy aimed to reduce depression severity by training the brain to focus less on negative information. The approach is non-invasive and uses a computer to adjust tasks based on the person's brain activity.
