Radiation boosts CAR-T: new hope for stubborn lymphoma

NCT ID NCT04601831

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving focused radiation to leftover cancer spots can help people with non-Hodgkin lymphoma who did not fully respond to CAR-T cell therapy. Fourteen adults with aggressive lymphoma received radiation to those remaining areas. The goal was to see if this combination could turn a partial response into a complete remission without causing severe side effects.
