What this could lead to

If successful, this study could identify new cancer susceptibility genes and clarify how genes and environment interact to cause cancer, potentially guiding future prevention or screening strategies.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study with no treatment, so it won't directly help participants. Results may take years and might not lead to immediate clinical changes.
