Smart alerts for heart devices: could they save lives?

Summary
This study compares two ways of managing patients with pacemakers or defibrillators: using remote alerts from the device versus standard follow-up care. About 120 adults with compatible heart devices will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if alert-driven care is safer and more effective at preventing heart emergencies.
